Reflections on … recycling

In which the reader will find disconnected jottings and musings that wouldn’t make much of a post on their own …

Recycling is obvious, yet not obvious, in France. There are street places where sorted recyclables can be put, they are used by some, but not by all as it’s (insert your reasons here). Glass in particular should be a no-brainer, but it often just gets binned. The Australian idea of mixed recycleables in household kerbside bins is, for all its faults, easier for the consumer to use. I’d be interested to know what happens with recycling in France (shipped overseas?), and household garbage too, something to look up one day!
